Q4: What to Focus on Now
Smart Steps to Finish Strong + Plan Ahead

As we head into the final quarter of the year, a little intention now can go a long way toward setting ourselves – and our businesses – up for success in the year ahead. We tapped two of our own TLC member pros to share what they recommend focusing on now, with practical steps you can take before the year-end rush is fully underway.

Yvette specializes in strategic brand photography that helps women business owners look professional, feel confident and attract their ideal clients.

Your brand is often your first introduction – before the meeting, the phone call or even the first email. And personal brand photography does much more than fill space on a website. It puts a face to your business, creates connection and gives you a versatile library of images to use across your website, social media, PR and marketing.

As Q4 gets underway, it’s also a great time to take stock of how your brand is showing up, and make sure it reflects where your business is headed, not where it’s been.

A few things to prioritize now:

  • Get the photos on the calendar. Schedule a brand session before the December and January rush. Authentic images of you, your team and your work can bring warmth, personality and credibility to your brand in a way generic visuals often can’t.
  • Create, or revisit, your brand guide. Colors, fonts, voice and key messaging should work together consistently, making it easier for you (and anyone creating content for you) to stay on brand.
  • Take a fresh look. Do your photos, logo and messaging still represent your business today? If you’ve evolved but your brand hasn’t caught up, Q4 is the perfect opportunity for a refresh.

A little attention now means you can head into January with a brand that feels current, cohesive and unmistakably you.
